Demand for renewable electricity in Europe continued to grow last year up 8% from 2014, new data has shown.
The five countries which still consume the most renewable energy are Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy and the Netherlands.
The research, documented with GO (Guarantees of Origin) showed the Netherlands is the fastest growing market.
From 2014 to 2015 it has increased by 12%, consuming more than 425TWh in 2015.
Germany has still retained its place as the largest market, with a total volume of 87 TWh last year.
More than 20 countries are actively working with AIB (Association of Issuing Bodies) and fully using EECS, the common European market standard.
