A north-east technology firm is targeting expansion after securing contracts worth a total of more than £100,000.
Aberdeen-based The TechForce, launched in January, said it had provided a range of services, including cyber security, cloud computing and IT support, for several North Sea-focused oil companies.
Its clients include oilfield services firm SMS Oilfield and Ellon-based engineering firm SengS, which was bought by Pryme Group last year.
TechForce managing director Jai Aenugu said he was encouraged that the company had been chosen as a technology partner by a number of customers already.
Mr Aenugu said: “While it has taken a lot of hard work and dedication, we could not have asked for much more from our first year of trading – especially when the Aberdeen market has been relatively slow. We have also received a good level of interest in the beta version of our security package, TechForce PROTECT, across different parts of the UK.
“Now, we are turning attention to 2018 and are already aiming to grow the business further in the north-east, as well as in Angus and the Highlands.”
