STUDENTS have been recognised for their contribution to energy industry business at the annual Year in Industry awards.
The overall Scottish winner was Holly MacDonald from Helensburgh. She spent her year with ScottishPower Energy Networks at its operational control centre in Kirkintilloch.
She helped facilitate the introduction of new technology by creating task-specific guides, to be used by field staff when working with new equipment.
She also won the Perth College/CMI YINI Student of the Year trophy. She will now go on to compete in the Year in Industry CTTB UK final in London on September 12.
Stacey Gray won the Best Personal Development award for her work at AMEC’s natural resources department in Aberdeen.
And Basel Razouk won the Best IT Project Implementation award for his work at ScottishPower Energy Networks at Bellshill.
