Two offshore energy sector training firms in the 3T Energy Group have been picked to provide services to Total E&P UK.
Survivex, based in Dyce, and sister firm AIS Training will manage the oil and gas major’s onshore and offshore workforce training requirements for more than 1,000 UK based personnel.
It follows a tendering process, which came to a close in January.
Survivex and AIS are both members of the 3T Energy Group, which is backed by private equity company Blue Water Energy.
Work will be carried out using the group’s “Transform” platform, which aims to digitise and streamline the management and reporting of training.
Gavin Taylor, sales director at 3T Energy Group, said: “Winning a contract of this magnitude with a client as prestigious as TEPUK provides a significant boost to AIS Training, Survivex and the wider 3T Energy Group.
“We’re delighted to provide a solution that addresses the challenges TEPUK set us within the tendering process, one with a technological approach to training that brings efficiencies across all key pillars.
“Our Transform software platform supports the efforts of our TMS teams who will be working hard to deliver a world class service to Total and its personnel as we implement this service in the coming weeks and months.
“3T Energy Group sees this as a partnership to deliver innovative training technology solutions through the life of the contract.”
