Hood takes the lead

Former SSE chief operating officer Colin Hood has been appointed chairman of the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult Centre by the Technology Strategy Board.

Former SSE chief operating officer Colin Hood has been appointed chairman of the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult Centre by the Technology Strategy Board.

He joined the industry with the Scotland Hydro Electric Board in 1977 and will now lead the centre’s focus on technologies for offshore wind, tidal and wave power.
