Aberdeen-based Allied Training Services (ATS) said yesterday it was on course to achieve record turnover this year.
The offshore-training specialist, set up 10 years ago, said it expected to hit its £750,000 target for 2012, exceeding last year’s £500,000 figure.
ATS, which employs nine people and plans to take on two more before the end of the year, serves clients including Paradigm, Maersk Training and Prosafe. Managing director Danny Lonie said: “2012 has been a hugely successful year for us. We are on target to turn over £750,000 for 2012 after breaking through the £500,000 mark last year, and are now working with most of the big operators in the North Sea, Africa and India.
“Allied Training Services started out in 2002 as a forklift training centre and progressed into the oil and gas industry with the introduction of our rope access and breathing apparatus training courses.
“We have built strong reblationships within the industry which has resulted in an expansion of our services and our team.”
ATS said it had also received re-accreditation for the provision of rope access training and equipment hire for the third time.
It added: “Achieving this level of accreditation is a major milestone for us.
“Our previous level of certification opened up doors for us globally and I expect this latest string to our bow to place us as one of the global leaders in rope access training and equipment hire.”
