Stork Technical Services has welcomed the first intake of trainees on to its recently-launched UK graduate training programme.
The global provider of asset-integrity services has taken on eight graduates who will be based in Aberdeen and spread between its various divisions, including project management, technical engineering, finance and commercial. Each will participate in a learning programme with the support of an experienced mentor.
On successful completion of the two-year scheme, graduates will be offered full-time roles within their divisions.
John McLeish, human resources director, UK and Africa, said: “We recognise the importance of developing and retaining the brightest and best in the industry.”
Martyn Wright, one of the graduate engineers selected, said: “I am looking forward to seeing how my studies apply to the real business environment.”
Stork received more than 100 applicants for the programme.
