A call is being put out to oil and gas firms to “make the most” of MA engineering and energy students at Aberdeen University.
The university is on the look-out for companies who can suggest projects for its masters students to work on – free of charge.
Projects can be related to: renewable energy; environmental sciences; oil and gas; gis/remote sensing; energy related finance and economics, climate change and sustainability law; safety and reliability; marine ecology/aquaculture.
The outline could be a specific project title or topic for the student to deliver, a general idea of a business need which requires further development or a core research theme to be developed into a bespoke project.
Projects will run for about three months and students can be placed with firms or split their time and location.
For more information got to the Making the Most of Masters website – www.mastersprojects.ac.uk – or contact Zachary Hickman on z.hickman@abdn.ac.uk.
Applications must be made by January 18.
