A team of Aberdeen University students is among the finalists for an industry competition at the Offshore Europe exhibition in Aberdeen next month.
The young engineers will compete for a £2,000 prize in the inaugural Europe Petro League, where they will go through rounds including analysing case studies and answering quick-fire oil and gas questions.
The Granite City team will go up against rivals from six universities, including Dundee and Heriot-Watt.
The event, which will be held on Wednesday, September 4, has been organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers’ young professionals committee in Aberdeen.
