Energy services company Senergy has secured a deal to provide geotechnical expertise for Statoil operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
The Aberdeen-based company said it would provide technical personel for site inspections, technical expertise and HSE assurance.
“The agreement with Statoil represents a significant development for the division as we seek to internationalise the business,” said Senergy’s head of survey Phil Edwards.
“This is the first survey and geo-engineering contract successfully negotiated through our Norwegian entity, although we have operated off Norway successfully over a number of years. We are extremely pleased to be working with Statoil.”
