A specialist joint integrity training scheme is being launched in Aberdeen.
The Academy of Joint Integrity has launched a new co-operation agreement with Evolve International Safety Training, initially focusing on skills courses.
“The relationship between The Academy and Evolve will facilitate the enhanced delivery of standardised training for those involved in joint integrity,” said academy training director Alex Lattimer.
“The skills and accreditation provided by these programmes form an essential part of the competence assurance process for personnel working on mechanical joints.”
Training will be delivered Evolve’s facility in Dyce, and will cover isolations, dismantling techniques, inspection of components, alignment techniques and clamp connectors as well as assembly and tightening techniques in specialist critical bolting.
