Energy industry services group 3sun has landed a deal to design and manufacture replacement control panels for a North Sea firm after completing a £1million obsolescence project.
The Great Yarmouth-based firm, which has a base in Aberdeenshire, recently completed a full life-cycle programme for an unnamed North Sea producer.
Now it has secured a contract to design and provide the replacement panels identified under the study as obsolete – a situation hampered by the lack of replacement parts for the aging system.
“This contract is testament to our commitment to deliver expert advice and execution,” said chief executive Graham Hacon.
