Engineering solutions group Aveva has boosted its research and development division in India by opening a second Hyderabad office.
The new premisses, located in the prestigious WaveRock Special Economic Zone (SEZ) development in the Gachibowli suburb, will focus on supporting the British multinational’s clients in India as well as driving the development of its new and existing product range.
“Our global research and development teams are crucial to maintaining Aveva’s leadership in technology innovation,” said Dave Wheeldon, the company’s chief technology officer.
“With India being one of our most important and fastest growing markets, it makes perfect sense to increase our investment here in both product development and customer support resources.
“Opening a second R&D centre in Hyderabad is a key element in our product strategy. We expect both Hyderabad offices to play increasingly important roles as major development centres for Aveva.”
