Many of the engineering resources at Blaze have been in the fire protection industry for decades and we have seen pretty much all the problems with designing, operating, and maintaining fixed fire protection systems in marine environments, from the challenges of material selection to corrosion and scale formation that led to nozzle blockages.

It’s been quite the year at Blaze, we have seen ourselves grow our staff by over 30%, have broken into Nuclear with large contract wins, now have three multi million pound wind energy projects under our belts and we’re currently working on a fourth.
The SMEs of the energy sector – “Subject Matter Experts”, as Blaze Manufacturing refers to them - will have a key role to play in the transition to low carbon fuels and other industries.
Aberdeenshire-based Blaze Manufacturing plans to double its headcount by the end of the year as it works through advanced contract discussions with international EPC contractors in the energy sector.
Attracting the next generation of workers is not about spending money, it’s about spending time, according to Ann Johnson of Blaze Manufacturing: "If we want diversity, its up to us."
