The Scottish National Investment Bank (SNIB) has invested £20 million in hydrogen-electric aviation developer ZeroAvia as pat of its latest funding round.
The aviation industry is running out of time to introduce cleaner planes needed to eliminate net carbon emissions from air travel by 2050, according to a study released Thursday.
BRISTOW Helicopters has hired Ian Taylor as its European business unit's new quality and safety manager. With more than 20 years' experience in the aviation industry, he joins Bristow from its affiliate group FB Heliservices Ltd (FBH) where he held the same role. Relocating from Dubai, Taylor will be based in Aberdeen.
