Subsea firm Ennsub Group has raised a £1.5million loan to help it expand its engineering capacity in deepwater winch technology.
The Aberdeen firm got the backing from the Scottish Loan Fund, which was set up by the Scotttish Government in 2011 for firms having difficulty accessing traditional bank finance.
Ennsub, which was founded in 2012, will also use the backing to expand its assembly capacity and its workforce.
Subsea products and equipment manufacturer Ennsub has finished sealing work on a platform in Australia.
The Aberdeen head-quartered firm worked on the design, manufacture, testing and installation and sealing systems for the Wheatstone Liquefied Natural Gas platform off the Australian coast.
Ennsub has been awarded a £2million contract to build a portable Launch and Recovery System (LARS4).
It has been created on behalf of Benthic to allow for further deployment capability in deep and ultra deepwater conditions and harsh environments.
The LARS4 will allow mobilisation of Benthic's Portable Remotely Operated Drills (PRODs) on a wider range of vessels.
