Orcadian Energy finds farm-in partner for North Sea Earlham discovery
Orcadian Energy (AIM:ORCA) has agreed a provisional farm-in deal with an undisclosed partner on a licence containing the Earlham discovery in the Southern North Sea (SNS).

Union Jack Oil has executed a farm-in agreement with Egdon Resources and Celtique Energie Petroleum to acquire a 10% interest in the onshore UK PEDL201 licence area.

Total enters Kurdistan
Total has reached a farm-in agreement with Marathon Oil to acquire interest in two of its blocks in the Kurdistan Region of northern Iraq. The French group was immediately blacked by the central Iraqi government for having done so, thus joining Exxon and Chevron on the banned list. This is because Baghdad claims such deals are illegal, while the Kurds insist that they are legal.
RWE takes stake in Norwegian licence
