International energy service group Hunting said yesterday that, despite current events in the Gulf of Mexico (GoM) and sluggish natural gas prices, its overall trading in the first half of 2010 had been very positive.
Hunting said yesterday that it anticipated a trading performance for 2009 towards the high end of market expectations despite recessionary global markets, volatile commodity prices and depressed drilling activity.
Hunting said yesterday its Hunting Energy Services division was planning acquisitions of complementary businesses as demand for products and technical expertise continued to outpace industry supply.
