Norway well slot: Drilling hits for Equinor, OMV and Neptune
As of 25 November, Westwood Global Energy reports that there are three exploration wells active, with two in the Norwegian Sea and one in the Barents Sea. Since the previous report, one exploration well program has completed at Oswig, and one exploration well has spudded at Countach.
Norway well slot – North Sea a hive of activity
As of 24 August, Westwood Global Energy reports that there are five exploration wells active, four in the Northern North Sea and one in the Norwegian Sea. Since the previous report, two exploration well programmes have completed, with one of the wells successful.
Norway well slot – Five exploration wells spudded with varying success
As of 23 June, Westwood Global Energy reports that there are four exploration wells active, two in the Northern North Sea and two in the Norwegian Sea. Since the last report, five exploration well programs have completed, with three of the wells being successful. The Slagugle appraisal well was P&A in April, with no results released until May when it was reported as a dry well.
Norway well slot: 34 wells completed so far in 2021
Westwood Global Energy reports that there was one exploration well active as of 16 December. A total of six appraisal wells and 28 exploration wells have completed to date in 2021, from which ten commercial discoveries have been made giving a 36% commercial success rate to date.
