The Aberdeen-based subsea controls engineering division of SEA, a subsidiary of technology group Cohort, has undergone a management buyout as it looks to grow its core business in the North Sea.
The first North Sea decommissioning contract to be secured by the Port of Cromarty Firth (PCF) has been hailed as a “tremendous boost for local companies and workers” by the organisation’s chief executive.
Atlantic Petroleum has made a gas discovery in its Ivory exploration well in the Norwegian Sea.
The company said the 6707/10-3S well tested the westernmost segment of the Ivory structure.
It is one of several prospects within the PL528 B license.
