Pupils from across the north-east are being given the chance to interview leading lights in the energy industry as part of TechFest’s annual STEM in the Pipeline initiative.
Techfest’s STEM in the Pipeline 2017 competition will bring in students from Aberdeen City and Shire schools to solve the challenges currently facing the oil and gas sector.
North-east secondary school pupils are taking part in a scheme aimed at giving them a valuable insight into careers in engineering and the oil and gas industry.
Pupils from Robert Gordon’s College in Aberdeen have won top prize in the 2015 STEM In The Pipeline challenge, which sees senior students solving a difficult oilfield problem.
