A panel of North Sea operators will hear about a range of existing technologies they could use to cut costs and increase efficiency at an event in Aberdeen this week.
Organisers Subsea UK and the National Subsea Research Initiative said the function would be the first of a series of events focusing on key industry topics.
Nine UK companies will have seven minutes to pitch their products and services to operators and contractors including Apache, Bibby Offshore, Chevron, EnQuest, Nexen, Shell, Total and Technip.
Subsea UK chief executive Neil Gordon said: “Some companies simply aren’t aware of the pool of expertise available to them and the benefits that can be gained from exploring different offerings currently on the market.
“By bringing the supply chain and end users together, we hope to bridge this gap and encourage the uptake of current, cost-effective technologies which can improve efficiencies and speed up project delivery times.”
The event takes place on Thursday at the Village Hotel, Prime Four, Kingswells.
