Flange specialists Equalizer International says it has revised its management structure to put more focus on its new product research and development.
Former technical director Bob Stephen will now add production and workshop management to his role after being named operations and training director, while managing director Ian McCormick will now double up as company chairman.
The moves are to free up engineering director John Morgan to focus on new product development for the firm, which recently opened a new office in Houston, and to allow the company to bring its new flange integrity system to market before the end of the year.
“The interest in the new system, combined with the high level of interest in the SWi range, has reinforced the fact that Equalizer’s strength and success lies in our capacity to innovate,” said McCormick.
“This is what has given us the success which we have and it is what will take us forward. These changes strongly reinforce our commitment to R&D and give John the opportunity to focus 100% of his attention on completing the development of our new flange integrity system. We think this is a very positive way forward for the company.”
