ABZ Business Park has announced the immediate availability of new industrial and office accommodations in its prime location adjacent to Aberdeen International Airport.
The 70-acre business park features a suite of 15 new build units, of which two-thirds are occupied, with the last five units, ranging from 2,500 sq. ft to 5,000 sq.ft., available as a whole or individually.
The extensive site, which has immediate access to the AWPR (Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route), offers high-quality buildings designed with energy efficiency in mind.
The multi-let development offers suitable accommodation for cross-sector businesses including oil and gas, storage and distribution and trade counter operations.
ABZ Director, Tim Stevenson, said, “We are delighted to announce the immediate availability of our energy-efficient, multi-let business units which are a welcome addition to ABZ Business Park.
“The fit-for-purpose buildings provide a high-quality, low-risk option for occupiers, when compared with many dated alternatives nearby and would be an ideal option for operators looking to expand on the space they currently have to better meet the needs of modern business.”
ABZ Business Park is home to some of the biggest energy and technology companies including Noble Drilling, RGU SubSea Hub, Ethos Energy, Aramark, Celeros, Interventek and Global Energy Group. Also in the immediate vicinity are BP, Oceaneering and Aker Solutions.
“Current occupiers on the business park are reaping the benefits of a brand-new location with close links to the airport and major road links to the wider region,” continued Tim.
A further advantage of the Dyce base is its link with Airparks ‘park and walk’ car park which has recorded a 93% occupancy rate this year with plans for an extension underway.
“We are delighted with the success of the Airparks ‘park and walk’ initiative with the high occupancy levels demonstrating demand for safe and reliable airport parking.”
ABZ Business Park, which has appointed Ryden and Savills as joint marketing agents for the development, has space to grow for expanding companies from a variety of sectors, who would benefit from ABZ’s unrivalled position as the city’s most innovative business park.
Paul Richardson, Ryden partner and spokesman, said “Despite challenging market conditions, we have generated robust interest consolidating ABZ Business Park as one of Aberdeen’s premier industrial destinations.”
“We are also open to selling land for occupiers to develop their own facilities should they wish.”
ABZ Developments also has planning consent for two industrial units at 9A and 9B International Avenue, with a six-to-nine-month construction timeframe. On completion, the purpose-built development will comprise two detached new build warehouses and office buildings with separate, secure yards.
“We would be delighted to speak with prospective occupiers on how we can accommodate them at ABZ Business Park,” added Tim.
